1. Overview
These Terms of Service apply to your use of SalaryBoost at getsalaryboost.com . By using the website or purchasing access to a SalaryBoost product, you agree to these terms.
2. What SalaryBoost Provides
SalaryBoost is a digital career growth platform for software professionals and related knowledge workers. It provides salary context, diagnostic tools, educational content, planning materials, scripts, and practical guidance.
SalaryBoost paid products, including the Salary Growth Plan and the equivalent paid offering for each supported market, are one-time purchase digital products with online access after payment is verified.
What you purchase is the specific named product described at checkout, as it exists at the time of purchase. A purchase does not include other SalaryBoost products, and it does not automatically include content, features, modules, or products that SalaryBoost may create, separate out, or sell later. SalaryBoost does not promise that a purchased product will remain available indefinitely, and does not sell lifetime, perpetual, or unlimited-duration access.
SalaryBoost provides general educational and informational career guidance, including salary context, diagnostic tools, planning materials, scripts, templates, and practical strategies. It does not provide legal, tax, financial, human-resources, or recruiting services, and it does not provide advice tailored to all facts of your individual situation.
Salary benchmarks shown by SalaryBoost are general reference estimates built from published wage data for an occupation and location. They are not a valuation of you, they do not determine what any particular employer should or will pay, and they do not predict or guarantee what you will be offered or paid. Wage data reflects an occupation as the underlying source defines it, which may not match your job title, your responsibilities, or your total compensation.
3. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your own career decisions, salary discussions, job applications, negotiations, and communications with employers. SalaryBoost can help you organize information and prepare, but you decide how to use it.
Career and compensation decisions involve uncertainty. A raise request, compensation request, external offer, counteroffer, statement about leaving, or other communication with a current or prospective employer may affect your employment relationship or an existing offer. An employer may deny a request, react negatively, change or withdraw an offer, reduce opportunities, demote, lay off, or terminate an employee, subject to any rights the employee has under applicable law.
SalaryBoost cannot predict or guarantee how any employer will respond. You are responsible for evaluating your circumstances and deciding whether and how to use any script, template, strategy, recommendation, or other content. You acknowledge that these risks exist and are responsible for the decisions, actions, and communications you choose to make.
You decide whether, when, and how to act on anything SalaryBoost provides. That decision, and everything that follows from it, stays with you. SalaryBoost does not take on responsibility for what you say or write to an employer, for whether you raise the subject of pay at all, for the approach or timing you choose, for whether you accept or decline an offer, for the career decisions you make, or for how a current or prospective employer responds. That includes any raise, promotion, bonus, offer, withdrawn offer, changed terms, reduced opportunity, termination, or compensation outcome, and it includes the acts of third parties generally.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or claims you may have against an employer or another third party, and nothing in these Terms waives any right that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
SalaryBoost does not guarantee a salary increase, job offer, promotion, interview, raise, bonus, employment result, or income outcome.
4. Accounts And Access
Some features require an account, a verified purchase session, or both. You agree to provide accurate account information and to keep your login details secure.
Once a purchase is verified, paid access can be provided in the browser you used to buy. You can also attach that paid access to a free SalaryBoost account. Access attached to an account is not limited to the browser used for the purchase, so you can sign in and continue using it elsewhere.
Paid access is for your personal use only. You may not share your account, purchase links, session tokens, or paid content with others. We may restrict or remove access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused.
5. Payments And Digital Delivery
SalaryBoost paid products are one-time payments. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no automatic renewal.
The price shown at checkout applies to that purchase. Prices may change for future purchases, and a later price does not change what was already paid or create any charge for a completed purchase.
Paddle is the current payment provider. The order process is conducted by Paddle.com, and Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for those orders and may handle payment-related customer service, taxes, receipts, and returns.
Access to digital content is delivered online after the payment is verified. Because this is a digital product, no physical item is shipped.
6. Refunds
You can request a refund within 7 days of purchase. That is the window for submitting a request; it is not a promise of approval and not a promise that funds are returned within 7 days. Requests are handled under the Refund Policy , which describes how a request is reviewed, how an approved refund is processed by the payment provider, and why the time it takes to appear on your statement is decided by your bank or card network rather than by SalaryBoost. Please review that page before purchasing.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use SalaryBoost for unlawful, misleading, abusive, or harmful activity.
- Try to access accounts, paid content, systems, or data that you are not authorized to access.
- Copy, resell, redistribute, scrape, or publicly publish paid content without permission.
- Interfere with the security, reliability, or normal operation of the service.
8. Intellectual Property
SalaryBoost owns or licenses the website, product structure, copy, plan content, modules, designs, and related materials. Your purchase gives you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the paid content for your own career planning.
9. Service Changes
We may update, improve, add, remove, restructure, or discontinue parts of SalaryBoost over time, where permitted by law. That includes content, modules, features, prices, supported roles, supported regions and markets, product packaging, and the providers used for payments, email, analytics, hosting, and similar services. New functionality may be offered as a separate product rather than added to an existing one.
Price changes do not create retroactive charges for past one-time purchases.
10. Limitation Of Liability
SalaryBoost is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, SalaryBoost is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for career, employment, salary, or financial outcomes that result from your use of the service.
11. Changes To These Terms
We may update these terms as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The latest version is posted on this page with the date it was published, and an updated version applies going forward from that date. Changes do not apply retroactively to a purchase that was already completed: that purchase stays governed by the version in effect when it was made.
